Boards Care holds board votes, resolutions and minute books — records an organization may need to defend years later. Here is what protects them today.

Audit trail

Every action on a ballot — opened, closed, a vote cast, an in-person count entered — is appended to a hash-chained audit log. Altering an earlier entry breaks every hash that follows it, so the chain itself proves nothing was changed after the fact.

Data isolation

Each organization's meetings, members, ballots and documents are isolated from every other organization's. Nothing is queried or displayed across organization boundaries.

Encryption in transit

Traffic between your browser, the Zoom app and Boards Care's servers travels over TLS.

Access control

Access follows role-based permissions. What a person can see and do depends on their role in the organization, and where relevant the committee they belong to, not just whether they're logged in.

Document access

Documents such as signed resolutions and minute-book filings are served through short-lived, signed URLs rather than permanent public links, so a document address can't be captured once and reused later.

Compliance posture

Boards Care is designed for SOC 2 alignment. We do not hold that certification today, and we'll update this page the day that changes.
